The project is designed to ensure we meet the numbers, 10% of volunteers with immigrant background but also that we ensure that diversity is embraced amongst the entire volunteer corps. Training for the manager and e-learning modules on diversity will be established in addition to a mentor program for new and old volunteers.
The beauty of this project lies in its long-term reach and symbol effect. We will recruit the best and reflect Oslo’s 25% immigrant base and impart key learning on working with and embracing diversity!

About the project:
- “Felles Start” -  Volunteer project to Ski-VM 2011
- Felles start will have its official kick-off Friday 4. September
- Over 2,000 volunteers will be recruited officers to Ski World Cup in 2011
- Project  aims to recruit 10% volunteer with an immigrant background
- Recruitment Process starts in late August 2009 (to the Test world cup in March 2010)
